"it was late at night, suddenly someone knocked on her door, who could it be?"

"Ní hào, péngyǒu." Chun-Yan had heard much of her friend in the past few days; people were protesting the recent elections. She too was suffering from protests in Beijing and Wukan, so she hoped Ivana was all right also. "Are you well?"
Kiku looked at the woman before him. His jaw clenched as he remembered how her twin brother dishonored him but considered the possibility that maybe his sister was different. He took a deep breath before walking up to the woman.
"Kon'nichiwa, Ivana-san," he said with a slight bow. "H-How are you?"
"Kon'nichiwa, Ivana-san," he said with a slight bow. "H-How are you?"
She was a little surprised at his approach but in return she bowed in the same manner. She giggled and stood tall after, waving her hand in a friendly gesture. "Privyet, Kiku. What brings you here today?" She asked in an unintentionally eerie way.
He felt slight discomfort as he realised the woman was as tall as him, or perhaps a centimeter taller. Waving this aside, he responded, "Ah, I was making mochi for a party but I brought too much, so I have some left over." He held out a container to her, trying to be friendly. "Would you like some, Ivana-san?"
Ivana blinked at the offer and slowly, very slowly, reached out to take the container. She blinked a few more times, unsure how to handle a small, but polite gesture. "Thank you." She said simply, and smiled at him appreciative. "A party..?" She asked, wondering if it was an Asian thing, or maybe she wasn't invited.
